Where do Mallorca boat trips depart?
There is no single harbour. Palma and El Arenal serve the south, Alcúdia and Pollença the north, Sóller the west, and Colònia de Sant Jordi the southern coast. Check the meeting point before comparing prices.
Is a Caves of Drach day trip from Palma worthwhile?
The caves are near Porto Cristo in the east. From Palma it is a long outing with substantial coach time; if you stay in the east, a separate entry ticket is usually more flexible.
Do you need a rental car in Mallorca?
Not for Palma alone. A car helps with remote coves, the east and self-planned stops. In the Tramuntana, train, boat or an organised tour can be easier than hairpin roads and parking.
Are dolphins guaranteed?
Dolphins are wild animals. Some individual offers advertise a guarantee or replacement policy, but it applies only to that product. Read its booking conditions.
Which tours work with children?
Aquariums, water parks and larger boats differ greatly from quads, coasteering and sea caves. The catalogue does not consistently state age limits; check age, shade, toilets and child life jackets with the provider.
What does Mallorca not have?
The island has neither one central tour harbour nor one base from which every sight is close. Booking on the wrong coast can turn much of the day into a transfer.
