Water sports in Mallorca: kayaking, snorkelling or action?
Updated October 8, 2026 · 4 min read
Kayaking and snorkelling take you close to Mallorca’s rocky coast. Cliff jumps and fast craft add physical demands. Choose according to ability, not the most dramatic photograph.
How to choose
The 3-hour trip combining kayaking, a sea cave, cliff jumping and snorkelling packs several activities together. It suits travellers who enjoy variety; calm paddlers may pay for parts they skip. Ask whether jumps are optional and what swimming ability is expected.
Check before booking
Check the departure point, duration, inclusions and cancellation terms on the booking page. Minimum ages, weather rules and equipment vary by operator. Also allow enough travel time: Mallorca is large, and a meeting point on the other side of the island can add an unnecessary transfer to your day.
When to skip it
Skip the activity when the weather, swell or your fitness does not suit it. A shorter or calmer alternative is often the more enjoyable holiday choice.
My verdict
The 3-hour kayak tour with a sea cave, cliff jumping and snorkelling costs €68 and is the broadest programme. If you only want to snorkel, there is a 3.5-hour snorkelling tour to the “Pirate’s Cave” from Portocolom for €80; if you want cliff jumping and climbing along the coast, there is the 3-hour coasteering tour in Alcúdia for €83.
